Update on the Hope for McKenna Fund:
We’ve raised almost $375 in donations and $120
in A Mother’s Love kit purchases! That’s almost $500!

We have met 10% of our $5,000 goal to help McKenna Elise Conrad’s family pay their cleft lip and cleft palate medical bills, but we still need your help. If you haven’t purchased “A Mother’s Love” yet for your scrapbooking collection, now is the time. A Mother’s Love was created by the thoughtful and generous designers of Scrap Outside the Box to help the family of McKenna Elise Conrad. McKenna was born January 12, 2008 with a cleft lip and cleft palate, which occurs in one in every 500 births. Now one-year-old, McKenna has already undergone numerous procedures to repair her cleft lip, resulting in $5,000 in medical bills. She is scheduled to undergo palate surgery on March 6 and that amount will more than double. Sadly this is all after health insurance has been paid. Her family is in dire need of financial assistance and you can help.

McKenna is very near and dear to our hearts, because she is the niece of Scrap Outside the Box owner, Dani Fenning. It seems only natural that we reach out to her family in the best way that we can, by creating a sharing a fabulous charity kit and donating the proceeds to this needy family. A Mother’s Love is the perfect title for this warm, colorful collaboration full of flowers, butterflies and rainbows. What better way to show that you care while getting a beautiful kit in return.

With having 4 kids myself, I know how quickly they are on the move...and sometimes you don't have time to change your camera settings to capture the moment. As you can see for example in the image to your left. I was photographing my other daughter Alyssa in a completely different direction when I noticed Kaitlyn. I have a series of images of her frolicking with the geese, all of which were over exposed. I loved the images of her so I worked my magic on the photo and the end result is the image you see below. I was able to

save very important details in the photo, and bring back some of the colors. Bringing the moment to life. This is just one example of how I can preserve your memories and bring your moments to life.
